Protection Fleece

Included with your ANS GrufeKit you will find protection fleece supplied at no extra cost. This is laid out on the roof surface first to protect the waterproofing.

GrufeGuard Edge Restraint – 1m length

If your roof does not have a parapet or an upstand of at least 100mm, the aluminium GrufeGuard provides a neat and secure edging solution for your GrufeKit. Designed with in-built connectors, it requires no fixings and is quick to install—simply laid on top of the protection fleece supplied in your kit. GrufeGuard gives your green roof a clean, professional finish while helping to protect the edges of the modules.

Scottish Pebbles

Scottish Pebbles are an optional finishing touch for your GrufeKit. They provide a practical solution for creating walkways, footpaths, and roof borders, while also offering a clean, decorative edge. In some cases, local authorities require a stone margin as part of standard installation for fire breaks or drainage. Supplied in convenient 20kg bags, approximately three bags are needed per linear metre for a 150mm border.
